A new apparatus for testing the stiffness of textiles for making clothes

Abstract

At the Hohenstein Institutes, a new measuring device was developed for testing the stiffness of textiles for making clothes. Its measurement principle is described. This new testing apparatus integrates perfectly into a successful system of clothing-physiological measurement and evaluation procedures.
