Abstract

The paper gives a survey of the investigations of injuries at work in the textile and garment manufacturing industry in the Karlovac County between 1999 and 2002. All the forms for this area were processed and injuries according to sex, age, education, kinds and ways of suffering injuries and sources of injuries were analyzed. The results of investigations of suffered injuries owing to the non-application of basic and special safety rules at work are shown. A survey of the lost working time due to suffered injuries is given.
